Answering the Call for 39 Years.
For the past 39 years, we have been first responders in the aftermath of hurricanes, collaborating directly with the City of Naples to address power outages and repair damages to lift stations, traffic signals, street lighting, and more. Our rapid response is supported by our fleet of bucket trucks and cranes, which we deploy simultaneously to efficiently manage storm-related damage and restore services as quickly as possible.
Over the years, we have been honored to witness and contribute to the growth of the Naples community. Our involvement spans projects from the revitalization of Fifth Avenue, Third Street, and Gordon Bridge decades ago to more recent developments in the Design District, River Park, and Seagate. Additionally, we have installed and maintained lighting for the City’s ball fields and Cambier Park’s tennis courts and regularly upgrade numerous lift stations and wells.

Charles “Chuck” Bentley
Charles “Chuck” Bentley joined Bentley Electric in 1978 and took over the company in 2001. With over 35 years of experience in site lighting projects, Chuck has established himself as a leader in the industry. He is a licensed electrical contractor in Florida and holds a business degree from Xavier University in Cincinnati.
VICE PRESIDENT
Steve Bentley
Steve Bentley joined Bentley Electric in 2013 and currently serves as Vice President. Steve was raised in Naples, FL and went to St. Ann and St. John Neumann High School. He completed his electrical journeyman apprenticeship program in 2017 and went on to teach at the local apprenticeship school for a couple of years after graduation. Steve also holds an MBA from Xavier University.

Aurelio Rendon
Aurelio was hired in September 2001 as a general laborer. He became a licensed journeyman electrician in 2008 and currently serves as a key member of the organization as a project manager and field supervisor.
John Frye
John joined Bentley Electric in 2013 and serves as an estimator and project manager. Prior to Bentley Electric, John served as a field supervisor for Semmer Electric in Ft Myers Beach for nearly 30 years. John is a master electrician.
Ian Diamond
Born and raised in Naples, Ian joined Bentley Electric in 2023 as a project manager. He attended Gulfview MS and Naples HS. Ian has over 10 years of experience in management. He holds a bachelors degree from FSU.

Steve Gouker
Steve joined Bentley Electric in 2014 and is a journeyman electrician. He is our lead employee for City lift station upgrades and repairs and has been working closely with Wastewater for over 10 years.
Joe Conrad
Joe joined Bentley Electric in 2006 and serves as a project superintendent. Joe has a CDL Class A and operates our heaviest equipment, including our crane and pressure digger. He installed the ballfield lighting at Fleischmann Park.
Alex Ortiz
Alex joined Bentley Electric in 2003 and serves as a lead foreman and streetlight installer for the City. He has been our lead on City of Naples streetlighting projects.
Randy Higgie
Randy was hired in 2022 and has served as an estimator and field supervisor. Randy has been in the field for over 40 years. He is a master electrician.
Manuel Bautista
Manuel joined Bentley Electric in 2001. Manuel has worked in the field for over 35 years. Manuel is an auger truck operator and lead on major roadway jobs. When asked how many poles he’s installed in his career, he says “too many.”
Everardo Nava
Everardo ”Evie” joined Bentley Electric in 2020. He is a master electrician and been a lead on several intricate electrical jobs. He has experience with traffic signalization and electrical upgrades.

This in-house manufacturing advantage allows us to expedite production and provide cost-effective solutions for base production and replacements. Our ability to directly control the manufacturing process not only ensures high-quality standards but also significantly reduces lead times and costs, making us an efficient choice for the City of Naples.
In addition to streetlight poles, we have experience providing bases for pedestrian signs and other city infrastructure, further showcasing our versatility and commitment to meeting the City’s diverse needs.
